YEO Tian Seong

Mr Yeo is a professional trainer with more than 27 years of experience in training, both locally and overseas. 7 years of which were as an in-house trainer with Mindef. His training roles included the design and development of training courses; interviewing suitable candidates for training courses; conducting the training for trainees in various overseas destinations; assessing and certifying the trainees’ performances and competencies; and writing their appraisal reports.

 

In 2004, Mr Yeo established his own training company, Apcot International Pte Ltd. He regularly conducts workshops and training sessions for both corporates and individuals, believing in helping organisations cultivate people to their full potential. His courses are based on experiential learning to draw out the best of every participant and actively engage their thinking processes to internalise the newly acquired knowledge. His participants find his training approach to be uniquely different from others; there is a paradigm shift of mindsets which put them on an empowering, growth-oriented positive mode. Participants, surprised at his wide knowledge of various topics and cultures, often described him as “an engaging, dedicated, friendly and humorous trainer with a vast knowledge.”

 

Always seeking to further develop himself, Mr Yeo is a Certified Professional Trainer, a Certified People Developer Consultant, a Certified People Developer Assessor and a Certified NLP Practitioner, as well as a life coach. He was also a Certified Trainer for John C Maxwell’s “Developing the Leader Within You™” and has conducted in-house and open workshops on this and “The Winning Leader™” leadership programs for both public and private organisations.   Besides the leadership program, he has facilitated countless training sessions and workshops, both in-house and open, with participants from many government and private sectors. He was a speaker at the Asia Business Forum’s Annual Convention 2006 and 2007 Singapore and Hong Kong conventions for Executive Secretaries. 

 

Mr Yeo Tian Seong graduated with a BSc Hons degree from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.  As a result of his keen interest in learning, training and upgrading, he has many certificates to his credit, among which he obtained a Certificate in Training from IPMA, UK. Certificate in Small Business Administration from Singapore Polytechnic, Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment, a Certificate in Information Technology (Multimedia) from Teaching and Learning Centre, Ngee Ann Polytechnic and is experienced in Computer-Based Training, courseware design and developments. He also obtained Certificates in advisory financial investments from the Singapore Insurance College.
